Pecan Teasers
Updated: May 22, 2021
These pecan teasers are the perfect finger appetizer and are quick and easy to make. Whether you’re a cheese-lover or not, you can choose to make it with or without the cheese. No matter what you choose, these teasers will turn out scrumptious and would be an amazing addition to your Thanksgiving table.
I opted not to use cheese when making these teasers and I also felt like my bacon was too salty, so I didn’t add extra salt. Without the cheese, I made 24 teasers.

Ingredients:
12 beacon strips
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup grated sharp cheese (optional)
1 teaspoon onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
6 bread slices ( I used potato bread)
Yields: 24 squares
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook bacon until crispy. Drain and crumble.
In a bowl, mix the chopped nuts, cheese (if using), onion, mayonnaise and bacon.
Mix well to incorporate.
Remove the crust from the bread.
Spread the mixture on top. Cut each bread slice into fours.
Place on baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes.
