Grape Leaf Cheese Wrap

This grape leaf cheese wrap brings in creamy flavors from goat cheese and the smoky taste of gouda. Grape leaves add a hint of saltiness.
This is an quick and easy appetizer that can be made days in advance by placing it in the freezer. When ready to serve, just take it out and place it in the oven.

Ingredients:
1 log (10 oz) goat cheese
1/2 package, 4 oz. Birdie’s smoked gouda and roasted pepper pimento cheese
5 preserved (in brine) grape leaves, rinsed and dried
Yields: serving for 6-8
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus 2 hours in the freezer
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Method:
A few hours before serving this appetizer, spread the pimento cheese on to and around the sides of the goat cheese. Wrap in cling wrap and place in the freezer for at least two hours.
Preheat oven 350°F.
Take the log out of the freezer and remove from cling wrap. Place two grape leaves on your counter. Place the log in the middle and wrap it with the remaining leaves. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cook for 20 minutes.
When ready to serve, gently remove the leaves from the top of the cheese log. Serve warm with crackers.
