Chestnut Puree Recipe

Quick, easy and a change from a potato puree.


  • 5 ounces chestnut, recooked whole shelled and chopped

  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon tahini paste

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Yields: serving for 2

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

  1. Place the chestnuts in a pan with heavy cream.

  2. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.

  3. Place the mixture in a blender.

  4. Add the tahini and salt.

  5. Puree.
